Are you looking to start a journey as a Salesforce Developer? 

Salesforce Developer is a programmer who creates functionality and solves problems in Salesforce software using a variety of web languages, software programs, and technologies. He/She uses logic and reason, decode puzzles, remove obstacles, and create solutions. As a Salesforce Developer, your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining websites and applications both for the public and internal sites for companies, and teams. 

 

As Salesforce Developer, your key activities at Stellaxius will be: 

  • Analyze. What the needs of the users are, then design, test, and develop software that meets those needs; 
  • Be creative. Design solutions and create effective project plans; 
  • Suggest. New software upgrades for the customers’ existing apps, programs, and system. Act in advance of the changing business and technological landscapes of Salesforce and .Net/Java platforms; 
  • Problem solve. Deal with possible inconsistencies in the quality of data and create processes that will overcome any potential system deficiencies; 
  • Leadership. Take the lead with other programmers by creating a variety of models and diagrams that will instruct them how to write additional needed software code; 
  • Documenting. Document every part of the company’s entire inventory of applications and systems for future reference, especially in the context of upgrades and maintenance; 
  • Communication. Maintain communication with Creative Directors and Project Managers on scope of projects. 

 

What are we looking for? 

  • At least 4 years of software development experience (Salesforce or other CRM experience is preferred); 
  • Knowledge and experience using a distributed version control system (e.g git); 
  • Experience with server-side programming languages (eg. Java, Apex) and client-side programming languages (eg. Javascript, HTML); 
  • Knows when to use declarative vs. programmatic methods and be able to explain why; 
  • Able to leverage relevant declarative capabilities of the platform, where appropriate 
  • Knowledge of Apex and Triggers development patterns and frameworks; 
  • Understands and applies appropriate techniques for error and exception handling in various programmatic contexts; 
  • Experience with deployments within Salesforce (Metadata API, Ant Migration Tool, SFDX); 
  • Understands and can implement Apex SOAP and REST web services, and how to call out from Apex using SOAP and REST; 
  • Understands and uses asynchronous programming – queueable, batchable, schedulable, @future, etc.; 
  • Has knowledge of Jest testing for Lightning web componentes; 
  • Experience working in agile methodologies is a plus;  
  • Capable of discuss any technical requirement with the customer; 
  • We value any of the following certifications (or similar): Salesforce Developer I + (Salesforce Admin or Salesforce App Builder); 
  • English fluent spoken and written ability.
