Main challenge

OneWeb needed to meet an aggressive commercial launch in 9 months, while onboarding distribution partners and setting up the network. They were looking to build the business support systems layer to enable teams to negotiate and sign agreements, onboard and train distribution partners on the product portfolio, leading up to a strong pipeline for commercial launch. The initial OneWeb team was small, only reaching its peak halfway to commercial launch, which meant the main stakeholders were busy hiring the team and resolving immediate issues, with little time to drive requirements and roadmap.

Solution

Stellaxius was selected to build the Account Hub, based on Salesforce and Conga technology, given its experience and demonstrated ability to co-create with OneWeb the roadmap to take Sales and Onboarding teams to fast-track engagement and deal-signing with the distribution partners. Stellaxius defined the set of capabilities and roadmap for commercial launch, delivered with a full Agile methodology. Starting with a very lean delivery of vanilla Salesforce and Contract Lifecycle Management, working with other hubs to enable the integration of key account, product and deal information via MuleSoft. As the processes and teams matured, the solution started to shape up for a successful commercial launch, benefiting from our ability to adjust course as needed, with a tight but very flexible scope definition. Stellaxius was instrumental in finding solutions for issues beyond the scope of the Account Hub, helping OneWeb with its deep Telco expertise, for instance in the Fulfilment and Billing domains.
