Stellaxius has proven to have the X-factor!
In 2018, Stellaxius, the Silver Salesforce partner and the Portuguese reference in Salesforce Consulting, won the 7th best small business to work in Portugal. The award was given by Neves de Almeida | HR Consulting in partnership with Human Resources Portugal and INDEG-ISCTE, within the context of Índice da Excelência 2018.
What is Índice da Excelência?
Excellence Index, in Portuguese, Índice da Excelência, is a study aimed at measuring the organizational climate and human capital development. It was created by Neves de Almeida | HR Consulting in partnership with Human Resources Portugal and INDEG-ISCTE, and in 2018, its third edition took place. The main goal: to analyze the state of Human Resources in Portugal and acknowledge the businesses which bet the most in such department. Also, each participant is given the chance to speak out, allowing companies to gather relevant information to identify strengths and weaknesses, and improve their management and investment in human capital.
Índice da Excelência Structure & Criteria:
In terms of structure, Índice da Excelência considers both the size of the different companies, dividing them into three groups: small, medium, and big businesses; and, the sector in which they play in: nine macro activity sectors (Health & Pharmacy; Industry; TMT – Technology, Media, and Telecommunications; Consulting & Professional Services; Public Sector; Bank, Insurance, & Financial Services; Construction, Infrastructures, Transport & Logistics; Hospitality, Tourism, Sport & Teaching; and, Retail & Commerce).
When considering the dimensions under analysis, Índice da Excelência considers: organisational dynamics, processes, climate, and Human Resources management.
When taking into account the evaluation criteria, four are the groups to be considered:
- The satisfaction survey
- The engagement
- The participation rate
- The top management survey

Stellaxius Results:
Stellaxius was defined as a small company (within 11 and 50 employees), and a player in the TMT – Technology, Media e Telecommunications market. Small enterprises represented 35,4% of the sample inquired and the TMT sector accounted for 12% of the global activity sector options. At the end of the day, Stellaxius ranked 7th place in the category of small businesses! Take a look at our results in detail:
When compared to the other small companies, Stellaxius displayed above the average global excellence. In particular, it over performed in its organizational dynamic, processes, climate, and HR management. When it comes to processes, Stellaxius is also way ahead when compared to the other small businesses. It ranks above average on: information & communication, leadership practices, coordination & integration, and development & innovation.

Considering the climate lived at the company, the results suggest Stellaxius as a company with above average organisational climate, in all aspects: organisational trust, justice, and well-being.
