In genetics, it’s where information about who we are is stored.
Let’s say it works like any other code. Four types of chemical bases combine in different ways to generate a unique sequence, telling cells how they make proteins. When we’re speaking about human DNA, it consists of about 3 billion bases. This is a lot of data to store This article has the purpose to uncover Stellaxius’ DNA sequence. Since its genesis, Stellaxius has been a combination of values. These values are the foundations for our long-lasting relationships with employees, customers, partners, and suppliers.
The Stellaxius code
Our DNA is quite different.
It has 6 bases and we call it TETRIS. We group together six core values we all feel relevant for us and that empower the way we work:

The combination of these six bases generated a code that guides our growth every day.
- We’re proud to have very small attrition, and you can see it for yourself! Every year, we’re between the 10 best small companies to work at – in 2018 we stood for 7th place, in 2019 at 8th, and last year at 6th. And all our team members sense this environment, contributing to it, no matter what.
- All team members can speak out directly to the management team. We share a responsibility for everyone’s development and unconditional respect for work-life balance. The most senior team players help everyone spreading this culture, welcoming the newcomers into this great work environment.
- We’re a diverse and inclusive company. Taking differences between us from generation to origins or beliefs, we’re truly engaging millennials to stay in the team for the long-term with a dynamic strategy for our people’s engagement. Even though this generation represents a lot of new mindsets and lifestyles, we still have a common desire to explore, learn, and grow, making a smart shift in the world. We embrace risk, always willing to try new stuff, driving innovation with less fear to fail and then repeat.
- Long-lasting relationships are our state of mind. Me and Daniel Marujo, my business partner, have come a long way together. We share 20 years of work experience and an everlasting friendship that let us work, naturally agreeing or disagreeing together. But we both agree and believe that the purpose of doing business goes beyond just year-on-year revenue growth. In the year of our 13th birthday, we decide to combine our expertise with another great partner – João Nuno, that shares our vision and commitment to people and work excellence.
- From our customers, we establish relationships that last. Many of our customers have been partnering with us since the very beginning of Stellaxius. Our team is their team. We’re more than a team of consultants passing by a project. We act as an add-on to each of our stakeholders, helping them to achieve their strategic goals.
Our approach

There’s no more space for B2B relationships when you find H2H (human-to-human) is much more rewarding for everyone. H2H relationships last beyond the boundaries of what people are doing today. They’re singular, meaningful, and exponential connections that grow, assuring success is conquered by all.
Our impact
Besides our business side, we’re always driven to impact the world positively.
This year, at the Consulting Partner Regional Recognition we were rewarded with the Community Impact Partner award for Portugal. There’s a lot of activities we perform to address global critical challenges.
Every year, we aim to integrate from 40 to 60% non-Salesforce experts within our company – we’re re-educating and reshaping their career paths, always looking for their own success. This is so much more than recruiting people. We give them a new journey to run, transforming their expertise into something exponential.
We also actively contribute to the Pledge 1%, a movement of corporate philanthropy.
The Movement On The Ground was the foundation we choose to help in 2020. They’re focused on improving the quality of refugees’ lives in camps. So we decided to give them a hand to generate more donations and volunteers, using Salesforce tools for it.
Over the years, we’ve been performing diverse activities that impacted both environmental and social causes. From taking care of acacia trees to patronize an animal at the Lisbon Zoo, we share a lot of initiatives that amuse our employees and the community.
Bringing it all together
Discovering these chemical bases in our molecules, we combine our values to form two strands. Together, they create a spiral – the double helix. Connected like a ladder, Stellaxius DNA is a combination of diverse people.
We’re all bounded by common values that guide our work and relationships, making it richer and helping us growing up this ladder together.
Our DNA is replicated in everything we do. We share our ideas and expertise with everyone, from our clients to our Knowledge Center. In fact, this blog aims to allow learning more about the topics we work on, no matter who you are.
The quest for talent is constant. Salesforce is a competitive and high-demand market. And, as we know that is easier to grow skills than values, we put an effort into developing our current team, turning our know-how into an exponential level. Although we have our Academy to teach hard skills for our team, we encourage everyone to develop their soft skills. But what we value the most, above all skills and competences, is the willingness to share our values.
Skills are better when combined with a well-designed set of core values, making people stand out and grow faster.

Stellaxius will always be a solid company with a deep-rooted culture, just like DNA. While we hold our true colors, the perception of us evolves every day. If in the past, no one associated Stellaxius with Salesforce or consulting services, the present day is quite different.
We increased our brand awareness and now more people recognize us as experts in Salesforce consulting. It may not be the easiest brand name to pronounce, write or remember. But we created a name that behaves like relationships – it requires attention, nurturing, and clear communication, with our senses, opened to feel and understand the others around us.
