Spring’22 Release: 6 best marketing news

You know that Salesforce is a constantly evolving platform and that’s why we need to keep up with all the updates as soon as they come out! The Spring’22 Release is generally available since 14th February and includes a lot of new features and products.

1. Media Planning Center

 

The Datorama Media Planning Center app is the best way for you to allocate a budget to each channel of your company. You can create, manage, and analyse your media plans using this tool! If you’re not familiar with this feature, check the video below.

 

Now, a new feature named Einstein Budget Recommendations uses AI to design a media plan with spend allocations for your channels. The Einstein-recommended plan is shown alongside your manual plan for comparison and it allows your marketing team to save time, helping to uncover issues in seconds.

In other words, this feature uses AI to help you create the optimal media plan in seconds! Further, Einstein forecasts the performance of any potential allocation of budget, having in mind the historic spend, historic performance and your goals. It designs the plan and then you can edit and make all the readjustments you may find valuable.

 

2. Datorama Enhancements for eCommerce in the Spring’22 Release

 

With the Spring’22 Release, Datorama includes now some eCommerce enhancements worth taking a look at!

Firstly, you can now optimize eCommerce sales with the eCommerce Data model. Thanks to new data types, including orders, products (SKU level), product categories, and order items, it’s now easier to connect your eCommerce data to advertising spend.

Secondly, you can optimize marketing ROI with the Datorama Connector for Salesforce Order Management, understanding the true revenue, considering sales, returns and cancellations, and connecting it back to the marketing spend.

And finally but not less important, you can now integrate Amazon-based sales, order, and product eCommerce results with marketing performance! The new improvements allow you to optimize marketing campaigns for Amazon-based outcomes with Datorama Connectors for Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Vendor Central.

Certainly, these new features let you connect your marketing efforts with eCommerce outcomes, delivering the best customer experience ever!

 

3. Pardot: Extensibility Enhancements

 

In regards to Pardot, there’s a new improvement worth having a look at!

In short, you can now improve your Pardot automation with a lot of external prospect data, collected from third-party apps. Set up a Marketing App Extension for each third-party app and collect data on the go, with the Extensibility Enhancements.

In conclusion, this enables marketers to streamline workflows and take action on the data collected by external solutions. Your Pardot automations and Engagement Studio programs will benefit from this data!

 

4. Loyalty Management Integration with Commerce Cloud

 

There are some updates to the Commerce Cloud, regarding marketing activities and loyalty points!

Get to easily enrol members into your loyalty program from B2C Commerce and enable them to manage their points, benefits, promotions and others! When you reward members across their commerce interactions and allow them to pay with points, you increase the bond between your brand and your customer.

 

5. Tableau CRM for Loyalty Management

 

Get to optimize your promotion performance by projecting potential revenue before the launch with Loyalty promotion predictions in Tableau CRM. You can now forecast revenue right away!

In short, the new feature for Promotion Predictions provides anticipated revenue, and based on the promotion and assigned segments, you can leverage suggestions on other market segments to improve performance.

 

6. Loyalty Promotions Setup Enhancements

 

Now you can create processes that decide how transaction journals get processed by the Loyalty Management app! The Loyalty Promotions Setup Enhancements lets you deploy personalized promotion logic with ease!

Moreover, with the new enhancements, you can easily use the formula editor to set up conditions and actions and leverage decision tables within the editor to simplify complex conditions. This feature assures that you’re sending the right promotion to the right customer, and obviously, at the right time!
