Agentforce continues to expand, now feeling more structured and seamlessly integrated into the platform. Enhancements include support for more languages, AI-driven SDRs for top-funnel opportunities, and a Sales Coach to refine insights. Data Cloud remains central to AI and data grounding, though with fewer new features in this release.

Digital Wallet introduces a more transparent way to manage Agentforce and Data Cloud credit usage, shifting accountability to the client.

This release emphasises refining existing capabilities rather than introducing a wave of new features, reinforcing Salesforce’s commitment to a stable and scalable AI-powered platform.

As Salesforce partners, we stay on top of every update, and our team makes sure to never miss a detail in the release notes. We break it down in our webinars for every release, helping you understand what’s new and how to make the most of it.

If you didn’t make it, you can catch the replay of our Spring ’25 Release Notes webinar.  Plus, when you fill in the form, you’ll get exclusive access to our in-depth notes.

The release notes are also available to you if you’d like to take your own notes. But if you’re here, you probably don’t want to go through all the detail, so here is a summary breaking down the most interesting updates.

Agentforce

Monitor Sales and Service Cloud Agent activity using Digital Wallet

You can use Digital Wallet to track your usage of Agentforce in Sales and Service Cloud. On the homepage of Digital Wallet, you’ll see a Conversations consumption card that shows the combined usage of Agentforce Sales Coach and Agentforce Sales Development Rep (SDR).

The Consumption Insights page lets you see how much you’ve used over different periods, helping you spot trends.

Agentforce for Sales

Agentforce now supports multiple languages besides English, including French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish in certain locales.

Agentforce Sales Coach analyses sales pitches and role-play sessions, providing tailored feedback by leveraging AI and CRM data to help sales representatives advance deals more effectively. It offers:

  • Opportunity Coaching
  • Negotiation/Review Role-Play
  • Proposal/Pricing Quote Role-Play

Agentforce SDR is a new AI-powered employee that manages the early stages of the sales funnel by:

  • Sending initial emails to leads
  • Following up when there is no reply
  • Answering initial questions
  • Connecting leads with sales representatives

Agentforce for Setup

Let Agentforce be your Salesforce Admin. Use Agent for Setup to troubleshoot user access issues, create report types, or find answers in Salesforce Help documentation—all from the agent panel in Setup. (This feature is not part of the initial Spring ’25 release but may be included at a later date.)

A Testing Center enables more thorough testing of agents. Conduct batch agent testing by uploading a CSV template containing utterances to test, expected actions, and expected results. Additionally, the system can generate its own test scenarios using AI.

Build Flows with GenAI (GA): Simply describe what you want to automate, and Einstein will handle the rest.

Agentforce Sales Coach for sales reps

Agentforce Sales Coach helps your sales reps improve their pitches. For deals in the early stages, the coach listens to their pitch and gives feedback. In later stages, the coach role-plays as the customer, giving feedback and suggesting ways to improve. You can access it on the Opportunity pages.

Agentforce for Service

Agentforce Service Planner is an AI accelerator for Service that analyzes cases, provides a description, and suggests the best course of action.

Real-Time Conversation Monitoring allows supervisors to oversee live messaging sessions between an AI agent and customers, ensuring quality interactions.

Field Service Scheduling Assistance helps dispatchers optimize schedules by filling gaps. For example, if an appointment assigned to Rob gets canceled, Agentforce can suggest the best available appointment to fill the gap.

SLDS 2.0 – Salesforce Lightning Design System

One of the standout themes introduced with SLDS 2 is Salesforce Cosmos, designed to offer a refined and modern aesthetic that enhances usability and consistency across the platform.

For developers looking to transition their Salesforce org to the Salesforce Lightning Design System 2 (SLDS 2), Salesforce provides the SLDS Validator as a crucial tool in the migration process. The SLDS Validator audits existing code, ensuring compliance with SLDS 2 guidelines. It systematically analyses the codebase, identifies discrepancies, and pinpoints custom components that require updates to align with the latest design standards.

By leveraging the SLDS Validator, developers can streamline the transition process, ensuring that their Salesforce environment remains both visually consistent and technically robust. This proactive approach helps minimize compatibility issues and maintains a seamless user experience across all Salesforce applications.

Data Cloud

This release includes only minor improvements to Data Cloud, with a few key highlights: a new “View All Fields” permission that grants users access to all Salesforce CRM fields, similar to the Salesforce Platform; general availability of file upload enhancements, allowing larger file uploads and bug fixes; and the ability to ingest data stored in Jira into Data Cloud.

Tableau Semantics in Data Cloud

Tableau Semantics in Data Cloud is now generally available (GA) as part of the DF24 announcements. It can be accessed through a new tab called “Semantic Layer”.

Data Cloud One

Use Data Cloud One (launched last release) to enrich your Sales, Service, and Commerce clouds and other organizations with data from anywhere in Data Cloud.

  • Einstein Studio BYOLLM option now has enhanced security and stronger authentication if you’re using Microsoft Azure as your provider.
  • Custom real-time Data Graph event in Data Cloud is now available (Beta), allowing you to trigger a flow and create an action in seconds.
  • Unstructured data from documents can now be used to power search operations within GenAI.

Other small updates:

  • File upload enhancements: You can now create streams directly from file uploads.
  • Object limit: The object limit has increased from 20 to 250 per data share.

Ingest Data Stored from Jira into Data Cloud (GA)

Jira information can now be leveraged in Data Cloud, allowing for consolidation with data from other sources and improving project management capabilities. Data can be fetched for issues, projects, sprints, users, workflows and other entities.
