Stellaxius actively act as a key contributor in bringing discipline to decision-making and coherence to solution design across the programme, strengthening alignment between business and delivery teams and reducing the risk of inconsistency across multiple workstreams.
Spanning Salesforce Industries Communications Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Field Service and Data 360, the engagement helped move MEO towards a simpler, more joined-up and future-ready operating model.
“Stellaxius has played an important role throughout our Salesforce transformation journey, from establishing the Centre of Excellence to becoming a key part of our Design Authority. Over the years, they have combined deep Salesforce and telecommunications expertise with a strong understanding of our business, helping us navigate complex decisions and maintain consistency across the programme. More than a delivery partner, they have become a trusted advisor to our teams.”
MEO is a leading Portuguese telecommunications company that provides integrated fixed and mobile services, internet, television, and digital solutions for both consumers and businesses. It operates nationwide in Portugal, including the Azores and Madeira.
As the organisation expanded and modernised its service portfolio, it needed to evolve the systems that support these offerings, strengthening the technological and architectural foundations behind the business while aligning them with a broader transformation ambition.
MEO partnered with Stellaxius to strengthen governance across a large-scale business systems transformation. Stellaxius acted as the key partner for MEO Design Authority team, guiding architecture decisions, aligning business and delivery teams, and embedding quality gates across the programme lifecycle. By 2025, 100% of Salesforce technical solution reviews were supported by the Design Authority team.
The programme began in 2021 with a clear ambition: replace a fragmented legacy stack with a more flexible and standardised ecosystem. As the initiative evolved and its focus narrowed to Portugal, it became clear that technology change alone would not be enough.
Stellaxius initially joined a global cross-operations team responsible for common enterprise architecture and solution blueprints, before engaging into a Design Authority role focused on the Portuguese end-to-end solution.
